[Case Study] Oil Facility Monitoring

A remote monitoring network for portal devices that guarantees reliable data communication!

A certain oil company, one of the largest in the world, required a monitoring system for wellhead equipment that supports data communication, voice communication, and video communication, with high reliability and processing capability. This project involved 500 oil and gas fields distributed across the Qais region of Saudi Arabia. Therefore, it was essential to install remote RTUs on the wellhead equipment and connect them to a SCADA system that controls the field devices. Additionally, each site required robust and durable video encoders that could connect CCTV cameras and multiphase flow meters to PLCs. [Case Study] ■ Industry: Oil ■ Purpose: Monitoring of reliable wellhead equipment ■ Products Implemented: EDS-510E Series, MGate MB3170 Series *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Transportation: Municipal Bus Control and Monitoring System

Construction of a monitoring system using PoE connections for municipal bus transportation! We will introduce case studies.

In Taichung City, Taiwan, investments have been made to develop six BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) routes that cover the entire city. To ensure the safe and smooth operation of this entire BRT system, a real-time control and monitoring system is essential, and this network will be used at all BRT stations and the control center. Considering the hierarchical nature of the BRT system, an ideal solution for this application is to build a robust Ethernet backbone that supports centralized management and accommodates the large volume of data and video sent from over 40 BRT stations. [Case Study] ■ Industry: Transportation (Public Bus) ■ Purpose: Real-time control and monitoring system ■ Products Used: "SoftNVR-IA," "SoftCMS-500," "VPort 26A-1MP," "VPort P06-1MP," "IKS-6728A-8PoE," "ioLogik E2242-T" *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] BA Management/Monitoring System

Introduced Moxa switches and encoders to build a robust building management system.

A building management company that introduced Moxa's unmanaged Ethernet switch and IP surveillance video encoder can detect abnormal high temperatures, triggering alarms and activating video recording. After confirming the abnormal situation from the main computer, they can respond appropriately immediately, reducing the workload of the on-site management personnel and cutting costs. 【Case Study】 ■ Industry: Building Management System ■ Purpose of Implementation: Establishment of building automation systems such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and video surveillance systems ■ Products Implemented: EDS-208A, VPort 461A *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Oil and Gas Device Monitoring

A case study on the construction of a real-time device monitoring system for oil and natural gas!

The digital oilfield system implemented to monitor pressure, temperature, and the flow rates of multiple oil drilling devices in order to reduce non-productive time (NPT) during drilling uses a remote monitoring system. By improving production at each drilling site and promptly sending alarms, the engineers of the oil company can respond immediately in the event of an emergency. [Case Study] ■ Industry: Oil and Gas ■ Purpose: Establishment of a device monitoring system ■ Products Implemented: ioLogik2500, ioLogikE1200, MX-AOPC UA Suite *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Transportation: Bus Bus Video Surveillance System

Video transmission technology for bus monitoring using IEEE 802.11n wireless LAN! Introduction of case studies.

A transportation company in Hawaii operates 50 buses on over 100 routes, providing service to thousands of passengers every day. The company decided to implement an intelligent monitoring system that records standard 300dpi video under normal operating conditions and can capture high-resolution 720dpi video during specific events. The recorded data is stored on the bus, and when the bus returns to the garage, the high-resolution video files are transmitted to a computer in the garage via a wireless connection. The file size of a 20-minute 720dpi video is approximately 200MB. [Case Study] ■ Industry: Transportation (Bus) ■ Purpose: Bus Video Monitoring System ■ Products Used: "AWK-3131" "AWK-4131" *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
